After FIDE World Cadet & Youth Rapid and Blitz Championship it is time for the FIDE World Cup Cadets 2025. The FIDE World Cup for Cadets 2025 (Under 8, 10, and 12) is scheduled to take place from June 22 to July 3, 2025, in Batumi, Georgia. This event targets young chess players in three age categories Under 8, Under 10, and Under 12 divided into Open and Girls sections, with 48 participants in each category. The tournament is designed to provide opportunities for young talents worldwide and will be held in two stages: Stage 1: A 7-round Swiss System tournament, with players split into two groups (A and B) of 24 players each. Stage 2: Players finishing in the same position in each group will compete in a two-game classical match, with tiebreaks if necessary.
