Players who will miss the FIDE Women’s World Cup 2025

FIDE Women World Chess Cup 2025 is taking place July 5 – July 29 in Batumi, Georgia, and is one of the major events of The Chess Calendar. A total of 107 participants (increased from the initially announced 103 participants) will compete for 691 000 eur prize fund.

The participants list now contains 105 of the players – the continental spots, the federation nominees, and the nominee of the organizer have been announced. There are only two spots remaining, which are the Nominees of the FIDE President.

We know of a long list of players that will miss the FIDE Grand Swiss 2025. Here is a list of top 100 women players and top 100 girls players who are not present in the list of the FIDE Women’s World Cup 2025 and might miss it if not invited by the FIDE Presidents.
