Komodo and Stockfish lead TCEC Season 7 – Stage 2 with 8/10 points.
Komodo defeated Houdini in the ninth round of the competition in a 110 move giant clash, while Stockfish outplayed Senpai to join the leader.
Two more rounds to go and only eight engines will qualify for Stage 3 while the rest are out of TCEC for the current Season.
Komodo, Stockfish, Houdini and Gull have already secured their places in Stage 3, but the other four spots are still free.
Junior (6/10), Critter (5.5/10), Protector (4.5/10) and Texel (4.5/10) should maintain the status quo to move on to the next Stage.
