But for black and white pieces fans, it was a blast – the Ferrari drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, now Ferrari teammates in 2025, shared a humorous story during an interview about playing online chess

The story he tell with a friend starts with Hamilton saying the awkward statement, “We were both in bed… playing chess” Leclerc quickly had to revert, “Not in the same bed! He was in London and I was in Monaco! And we were playing chess.”

Hamilton is impressed by Leclerc’s chess strength, goes online and finds a bot to help him. Literally that is cheating. But in a quick twist of the story, it turns out that they are both cheating and the games turn into bot vs bot.
