The World Chess Championship 2024 – Gukesh vs Ding Liren is set to take place between November 25 and December 13, 2024, in Singapore. This event will feature a match between the reigning world champion, Ding Liren from China, and the challenger, Gukesh Dommaraju from India, to determine who will be the World Chess Champion 2024.
The organizers of the World Chess Championship 2024 announced the daily program of the match, with multiple side events. On November 27th, during game 3 of the Gukesh – Ding Liren match, the guests in Singapore will enjoy a simul by GM Boris Gelfand. The same day Vishy Anand and Maurice Ashley will visit the fan zone. The next day there will be a masterclass by GM David Howell and Jovanka Houska, followed by 10-board simuls by Alexandra Kosteniuk and Xie Jun on November 29th and 30th.
