A day of surprises at Grenke

The first round of the massive Grenke Chess 2025 (live games / information and schedule) saw practically no upsets. We have to go down to board 43 to actually find a result that is not a victory for the favorite.

Round 2 and 3 were a different story. Not only we saw a massive amount of upsets, but in many cases the underdogs had the chance to win even more games, just blundering in key moments a favorable position.
